The Goal Of Instruction Is Love

(Midweek Devotion - 1 Timothy) 1 Timothy 1:5-7 5  The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. 6  Certain persons, by swerving from these, have wandered away into vain discussion, 7  desiring to be teachers of the law, without understanding either what they are saying or the things about which they make confident assertions. One of the struggles of any faithful preachers and teachers of the Gospel is to be misunderstood in their delivery of Bible interpretations, moreover, be driven by their personal or natural intentions. Though the doctrine of the Bible claims that the Scripture is inerrant, infallible and Holy Spirit inspired Word of God; its interpreter is a fallen creature which can be prone to errors at any given times, maybe not on his intention but on his different methods used for delivering the message. Therefore, this task of truthful and faithful stewardship of the Gospel is the primary responsibility of anyone who

Responsible Stewardship of Christian Doctrines

(Midweek Devotions - 1 Timothy) 1 Timothy 1:3-4 3  As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus so that you may charge certain persons not to teach any different doctrine,  4  nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies, which promote speculations rather than the stewardship from God that is by faith.   One of the attributes of the Pauline epistles to individuals like Timothy and Titus, is the pastoral approach to teach, to instruct, and to mentor new or younger generations of church leaders. Though it has particular audience, the lessons that Paul is trying to give to Timothy is equally applicable to each and every indiviual who mant to mature in their walk of faith and later advance in a more challenging role in the body of Christ. Little by little, let us help ourselves in understanding the many important points richly included in this letter to Timothy. A. The Chain of Commands When it come leadership, chain of commands is quite important. Though

The Muture Christian Church is Exposed in the Truth of Christ

(Message from District General Superintendent of IAFB Australia , Rev. Denward Estrada) Today, I greatly acknowledge every men and women who were called by God the Father to Christ through this visible body of Christ, the International Assemblies of the First Born Australia. We were once a seed planted for the first time. But that plant has grown and propagated its territory. Like any growing plant, we were cultivated regularly by our hardworking Gardener to nurture and care for us in all seasons of every year, and year on years until this day. We are also, at some point, have been pruned, to remove the destructive part and branches that do not bear fruit and give opportunity for the fruit of the Holy Spirit to manifest. This occasion is mostly painful, but the result is bloom and healthy relationships within the fellow brethren and with our Triune God! Eighteenth (18th) year is the year in which most of the countries in the world declared a child or a teenager, as a full grown adult.

Know, Knew, and Known in Christ

(Midweek Devotions - 1st Timothy) 1 Timothy 1:1-2      1  Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope,      2  To Timothy, my true child in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. Today we are starting a new devotional series referencing an epistle of the Apostle Paul to Timothy. As this letter is personal, let us try to understand the intentions and purpose of Paul to his younger brethren in Christ and co-labourer in the vineyard of God. This first and second letters to Timothy gives us many apostolic teachings, instructions, exhortations, and encouragement in individuals walk of faith in Christ. As the common format of Paul’s letter, he always make a careful introduction and addressing appropriately to whom a letter is intended for. I am always astonishing the way Paul gives introductions and addresses as it reminds us some ethical standards of how we know, knew and have known our identity in C
