Abide in Christ Teaching

2 John 1:9-11 9  Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10  If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, 11  for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works. Today’s generations are taking advantage of many products brought by intellectual revolution where the mind of men is being replicated through the use of computers. Indeed, computers means our identities and personal information are stored in it commonly known as personal data. Data is considered more precious than gold nowadays to bad guys of the virtual world. Though computers are far from perfection and full of many vulnerabilities for any attack for its destruction, it continuous to survive and dynamically progressing to become adaptable to modern and emerging threats from malicious activities such as hacki...

Answered Prayer? Return to God and Praise Him

Luke 17:11-19 11  On the way to Jerusalem he was passing along between Samaria and Galilee. 12  And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance 13  and lifted up their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us." 14  When he saw them he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And as they went they were cleansed. 15  Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice; 16  and he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan. 17  Then Jesus answered, "Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? 18  Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?" 19  And he said to him, "Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well." What a great illustration of Jesus answering the desire of these ten lepers to be healed and cleansed that they may have to show themselves to the priest. After such answ...

Disability Can Display God’s Ability

John 9:2-7 1  As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. 2  And his disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" 3  Jesus answered, "It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him. 4  We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work. 5  As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." 6  Having said these things, he spit on the ground and made mud with the saliva. Then he anointed the man's eyes with the mud 7  and said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" (which means Sent). So he went and washed and came back seeing. Today, our office celebrated the IDPwD or International Day of Person With Disability where I was given the opportunity to engage and interact with them, the PwD who are advanced in competing to their respective choice of sports. This organisation and their compet...

Commune With God!

Mark 1:35 - And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed. From the last couple of weeks, we are choosing to remodel the ministry that the Lord has given us by revisiting the works of Jesus Christ as He begins His ministry here on earth. His Spiritual Gifts which He poured out to His body helps to equip us until we reach the fullness of Christ in us (Ephesians 4:11-13). He showed us the importance of FIND-ing the lost soul that Jesus might save them (Luke 19:10), which he revealed His purpose for each and everyone of us. That we have to be a disciple, to disciple, and to make disciples until we continuously duplicate Christ in our every disciple’s lives. Both the ministry and the purpose works in relation to each other that gifts shared within the ministries will be directed proportionally to the purposes given. And this is being achieved by the act of proclaiming the Word of God, which ...

Spiritual Gifts Are Free Gifts

Acts 8: 18-23 18  Now when Simon saw that the Spirit was given through the laying on of the apostles' hands, he offered them money,  19  saying, "Give me this power also, so that anyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit."  20  But Peter said to him, "May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!  21  You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for your heart is not right before God.  22  Repent, therefore, of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that, if possible, the intent of your heart may be forgiven you.  23  For I see that you are in the gall of bitterness and in the bond of iniquity." All disciples of Jesus have given the power from God through the Holy Spirit. This is something Jesus had told us that He will send us an advocate or a helper and He will teach us with righteousness and will help us to remember everything that He taught us. T...

Cast Our Cares to God

1 Peter 5:6-9 6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, 7 casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9 Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. When we are facing a stressful and difficult situation, or maybe a persecution, or could be some adversaries, or a very important decision in life; what is the best thing to do? In a common human reactions, we tend to seek for an answer to all the questions we may think? We could be looking for an answer of all the WHYs or HOWs from our thoughts? But more than the search for the greatest answer, it could add up more to our worries and anxieties. Peter presented a great way to deal with it. The Bible is truly a bre...
