1 John 5:18 - We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him. For any kind of relationship, commitment is of great importance. Without such, there is a tendency to fail to abide in each others covenant. This is not different in every Christian. We are in a marriage with Christ as the Head and we as His wife and family. His redemption, death, and resurrection —- the Gospel of Salvation, is our only way to be born from above (a.k.a Born Again or Born of God) that whoever have faith in Jesus will have the promise of eternal life. This is a promise that God cannot void by Himself as He is faithful and true all the time. But not in ours, as we are always stumbling in every temptations in our ways and ending up sinning against God.
