Preserve A Genuine Faith Encounter with Jesus

Hebrews 13:7-9 7 Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. 9 Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, which have not benefited those devoted to them. The common average person visiting any Pentecostal churches will have different views and perceptions of how Jesus and His message of salvation and Good News is being presented to them which may lead to their repeat visitation and later progress to regular membership which is addition to such church. Therefore, many churches give importance to the great team of workers from preparing the venue; the program of activities before, during and after the service; the ushering team; beautiful songs, sounds and musicalities; and great, eloquent, engaging, and encouraging speakers regularly to...

Doubt is Fixed with The Peace of God

John 20:24-28  24 Now Thomas, one of the twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord." But he said to them, "Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into his side, I will never believe." 26 Eight days later, his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you." 27 Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe." 28 Thomas answered him, "My Lord and my God!"  There will come a time in our walk of faith where we will experience chaos wherein God seems not making any sense to us at all. We think that for a longer period of time that we are serving God, we end up broken, empty, and li...

Live As You Are Called by God

1 Cor 7:17:24  17 Only let each person lead the life that the Lord has assigned to him, and to which God has called him. This is my rule in all the churches. 18 Was anyone at the time of his call already circumcised? Let him not seek to remove the marks of circumcision. Was anyone at the time of his call uncircumcised? Let him not seek circumcision. 19 For neither circumcision counts for anything nor uncircumcision, but keeping the commandments of God. 20 Each one should remain in the condition in which he was called. 21 Were you a bondservant when called? Do not be concerned about it. (But if you can gain your freedom, avail yourself of the opportunity.) 22 For he who was called in the Lord as a bondservant is a freedman of the Lord. Likewise he who was free when called is a bondservant of Christ. 23 You were bought with a price; do not become bondservants of men. 24 So, brothers, in whatever condition each was called, there let him remain with God.      ...

What To Do When Facing Conflict With Our Fellow Brethren?

I would like to share these teachings in the Bible which are very relevant for all of us as who are facing difficulties, conflicts and issues within our fellow believer of Christ. Handling conflict is so stressful and so exhausting, a right attitude is so important to deal it with success. We may not win the battle the way we want it, but we will win the favour of God and of men. Here are few suggestions we can do to help us a victorious over any conflict.  1. Seek and Keep the Peace of God - is the first thing we need to do and to have when conflict arises as it surpasses all the understanding and will definitely guard your heart. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7) 2. Show the Biblical approach in dealing a conflict - Take this as an opportunity for you to show your spiritual maturity as follower of Jesus Christ called to represent Christ to our fellow brethren and stand a...

Wake Up - Stand On Your Post!

2 Samuel 19:5-7: 5 So Joab visited the king at his home. He said, "Today you have embarrassed all your servants who have saved your life this day, as well as the lives of your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your concubines. 6 You seem to love your enemies and hate your friends! For you have as much as declared today that leaders and servants don't matter to you. I realize now that if Absalom were alive and all of us were dead today, it would be all right with you. 7 So get up now and go out and give some encouragement to your servants. For I swear by the Lord that if you don't go out there, not a single man will stay here with you tonight! This disaster will be worse for you than any disaster that has overtaken you from your youth right to the present time!" The 3 chapters (17-19) of the book of 2nd Samuel narrated the story of the how the young Absalom, one of the Sons of King David dreamt to take over his Dad's kingship in Israel. Thanks to the loya...

Let Your Name Stand In The Book Of Life

Christians are the apple of the eye of the devil when it comes to his rebellious plan against God. He loves us to be trapped into temptations and cast doubts, fears and many curiosities to turn our hearts, minds and ways against The Almighty. Jesus knew very well that we will encounter these sooner or later once God calls us and has chosen us to do the work in His ministries. God's plan to His missionaries is to succeed in every places where they go, however, if the plan goes wrong, He always has the backout plan (1 Cor 10:13). He destined us a victorious Christian Living not merely in physical aspects only but in spiritual aspects specifically. God who is always faithful, loves his flocks and would want us to meet Him always even at least in the time of our service to Him.  To encourage us, he gave us the authority which he bears too, that is to defeat the enemy and his works. ( Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all t...
