Mark 1:35 - And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed.
From the last couple of weeks, we are choosing to remodel the ministry that the Lord has given us by revisiting the works of Jesus Christ as He begins His ministry here on earth. His Spiritual Gifts which He poured out to His body helps to equip us until we reach the fullness of Christ in us (Ephesians 4:11-13).
He showed us the importance of FIND-ing the lost soul that Jesus might save them (Luke 19:10), which he revealed His purpose for each and everyone of us. That we have to be a disciple, to disciple, and to make disciples until we continuously duplicate Christ in our every disciple’s lives.
Both the ministry and the purpose works in relation to each other that gifts shared within the ministries will be directed proportionally to the purposes given. And this is being achieved by the act of proclaiming the Word of God, which preaching the Gospel of Christ, Our Salvation, and His Kingdom.
Jesus knew that this is not a simple task, especially in a human nature. This the reason why He gave us a great example to start our day before we all start doing the work of the Lord He entrusted to us. He begins His day by having a quiet moment between Him and God The Father. He make sure that He is praying earnestly for a long and tiring day to preach His Kingdom to all places where there are people who are lost in sin.
Praying is one great tool to draw strength from Him. Praying encouraged us to heed the voice of God in the most isolated moment of silence. Praying bring us to an opportunity to seek the wisdom of God that we may be ready in sharing His word with boldness and courage. Praying developed the discipline in us as we allow God Himself to disciple us because we learn from Him and follow Him as the day progresses.
As we end this day and if we have not had quiet time yet, let us choose to have our quiet time with Him and get ready for tomorrow. Have a great evening and God bless us all!
