Rebuilding Our Christian Family and Households

One of the increasing benefits of the current pandemic is the recognition of the long awaited desire of many workers to work from home. Because of the harsh fatality of the virus especially for the elderlies and those with respiratory illnesses, the new work arrangement at home is highly advised. This is a big win for workers with families and lives with them. Although there are other emerging issues on the isolation measures of each nation, we cannot deny that it has great opportunity for each member of the household to benefit from it. One of these is revisiting the status of our relationships with each family member and rebuild it in an approved and delightful ways like a Christ’s led family project. For sure, as individual is unique, each family household also differs in many occasions. Paul has given many exhortations and advices from his letters to churches with regards to our conducts for households. I wanted to encourage you to join me in looking into one of it in Co

Pray In Spirit

Ephesians 6:18 - “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Glory be to God in the Highest! It’s the start of a long weekend for our fellow brethren here in Australia as 27th is a holiday to give way for the celebration of Australia Day! Looking at this beautiful moment in the History of the discovery of this great land by the Westerners and became a country that we now knew as Australia. I remember the time when I was reviewing the History of this land as part of our preparation for the Australian Citizenship Examination, the first Australian migrants were rooted from Judeo-Christian faith. This mission works grew and later have been embraced as the primary faith movement in this land. As we are also partakers of the great thing this land has to offer, it won’t be an abuse to include this land in our prayers as well. There are many things that has

Abide in Christ Teaching

2 John 1:9-11 9  Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10  If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, 11  for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works. Today’s generations are taking advantage of many products brought by intellectual revolution where the mind of men is being replicated through the use of computers. Indeed, computers means our identities and personal information are stored in it commonly known as personal data. Data is considered more precious than gold nowadays to bad guys of the virtual world. Though computers are far from perfection and full of many vulnerabilities for any attack for its destruction, it continuous to survive and dynamically progressing to become adaptable to modern and emerging threats from malicious activities such as hacking of personal

God’s Verified Our Cries

Genesis 18: 20-21 20  Then the LORD said, "Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin is very grave, 21  I will go down to see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry that has come to me. And if not, I will know." There were instance when my little girl is approaching before me and crying out loud and telling all her complain about her brother. Suddenly, the brother will come and explain his sides defending himself from possible punishment if proven guilty. This is a typical scenario for families with young children. As a parent and/or as a father, we are have to use discernment, wisdom and justice in dealing with this similar situation. This is not far from our just God when he also received the outcries of people who are sending and lifting up their prayers to Him. This has been proven true by the God of the Bible before He finally cast the judgement to Sodom and Gomorrah (refer to Genesis 18) Genesis 18:20-21

Whose Feet is Beautiful?

Romans 10:14-17 14  How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15  And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!" 16  But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?" 17  So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. One time, I was cutting my toenails and notice how my feet’s sole and skins are cracked and ugly. I was thinking of how can I make my feet smooth. Or maybe just to make it look good at the very least. I wonder what were these feet have done in my life? These feet have been my travelling companion from the time I start to learn walking to now. It already brought me in many destinations, from several parts of the Philippines to the ot
