Recover Our Vision

Luke 18:40-43 40  And Jesus stopped and commanded him to be brought to him. And when he came near, he asked him, 41  "What do you want me to do for you?" He said, "Lord, let me recover my sight." 42  And Jesus said to him, "Recover your sight; your faith has made you well." 43  And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God. At some point in time of our lives, we no longer see anything our own directions, our future, our loved ones, our goals, or our plans. Our eyes are open and yet we are covered with darkness. These primarily contributed by adversaries, disappointments, struggles, failures and worsen by clouds of doubt raising a questions if there is God in everything behind it? We were blinded to see God’s face to brightly shine upon our lives, is there any good behind the dark curtains of doubts. Are we ready to be asked by God, when He himself come near t

Answered Prayer? Return to God and Praise Him

Luke 17:11-19 11  On the way to Jerusalem he was passing along between Samaria and Galilee. 12  And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance 13  and lifted up their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us." 14  When he saw them he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And as they went they were cleansed. 15  Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice; 16  and he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan. 17  Then Jesus answered, "Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? 18  Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?" 19  And he said to him, "Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well." What a great illustration of Jesus answering the desire of these ten lepers to be healed and cleansed that they may have to show themselves to the priest. After such answ

Healing From Disabling Spirit on Sabath

Luke 13:10-17 10  Now he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. 11  And behold, there was a woman who had had a disabling spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not fully straighten herself. 12  When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said to her, "Woman, you are freed from your disability." 13  And he laid his hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and she glorified God. 14  But the ruler of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the people, "There are six days in which work ought to be done. Come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day." 15  Then the Lord answered him, "You hypocrites! Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger and lead it away to water it? 16  And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?" 17  As he said these things,

Unbreakable

Luke 6:47-48 47  Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: 48  he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built. In recent events from different parts of the world, there are varieties of natural disasters happening in this world. In Philippines, we know that earthquakes becoming a norms in Mindanao region and 20-30 different levels of Typhoons crossing it annually. While here in Australia, there are droughts across many farmlands while bush fires are increasing and aggravating resulting to destruction of many houses and lives. If we are a homeowners, we tend to keep our homes as safe and protected as we can from any of destruction brought by these calamities both physically and spiritually. Attending to the needs of our respective homes, keeping it a better place for ourselv

Disability Can Display God’s Ability

John 9:2-7 1  As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. 2  And his disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" 3  Jesus answered, "It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him. 4  We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work. 5  As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." 6  Having said these things, he spit on the ground and made mud with the saliva. Then he anointed the man's eyes with the mud 7  and said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" (which means Sent). So he went and washed and came back seeing. Today, our office celebrated the IDPwD or International Day of Person With Disability where I was given the opportunity to engage and interact with them, the PwD who are advanced in competing to their respective choice of sports.
