Luke 18:40-43
40 And Jesus stopped and commanded him to be brought to him. And when he came near, he asked him, 41 "What do you want me to do for you?" He said, "Lord, let me recover my sight." 42 And Jesus said to him, "Recover your sight; your faith has made you well." 43 And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.
At some point in time of our lives, we no longer see anything our own directions, our future, our loved ones, our goals, or our plans. Our eyes are open and yet we are covered with darkness. These primarily contributed by adversaries, disappointments, struggles, failures and worsen by clouds of doubt raising a questions if there is God in everything behind it?
We were blinded to see God’s face to brightly shine upon our lives, is there any good behind the dark curtains of doubts. Are we ready to be asked by God, when He himself come near to you and ask you, what do you want me to do?
Are we broken enough to tell him, I want a vision? A vision that brings the light of God shining upon me. A vision that becomes a window of my soul to direct my desire to the Will of God. A vision that attracts people to praise God to whoever see the Goodness of God in my lives. A vision that is healthy not just physically but also spiritually.
God is near to the brokenhearted, if we are, we can easily perceive Him. Our loneliness gives the ability to heed His Voice even at the lowest whisper of His words that even the hearts can hear it aloud. Our cries are like fountains of prayers of petition though words are not abounding in our lips. Our bended-knees our more than surrender flagging our white banner longing for peace and submission to His will.
God’s very will in our most broken pieces of blindness is that we should recover our vision. True vision that do not seek our glory but of God alone. Vision that bring people around us rejoicing at all times. Vision where God is the source and shared to us. Vision that saves our soul and the soul of people around us.
Upcoming year is fast approaching! We are soon to step into the Year of 20/20 Vision. Be excited to receive the spiritual eyesight of the Lord this coming year 2020!
Have a great evening and God bless you all!!!
